August 22nd-25th

I got to go cabin camping at Packwood with momma, papa, Grandma Kathy,Great Grandpa Pete, Great Grandma Mary Ann, Uncle Ken, Aunt Edith, and Great Cousins Jill, Bob, Kendal, and Sandi, along with all seven of our dogs. We went to celebrate Great Grandma Mary Ann's 78Th birthday.

We had a great time. We took the dogs down to the river to play, sat around the campfire, watched the Olympics and played and played and ate and ate.

My New Cousin

Wednesday August 20th

Today I got to meet my new baby cousin! Uncle Kyle and Aunt Rhianna had a beautiful baby girl, Mayah Elizabeth Wisdom. I am so excited that there is a baby younger than me in the family, however I'm not sure I like to share the spot light. I guess I'll have to get used to sharing if I'm ever going to have a little brother or sister of my own.

Momma Got Baptized

Sunday August 3rd

Today my momma got baptized! We had a big picnic at Salt Water State Park with all our friends from Soma. momma and I were very excited because papa and Emma and Rheanna and grandma Kathy were there to support momma in her public declaration of her love for Christ.

There were lots of other people getting baptized too. Momma had to say why she wanted to be baptized and explain what has led her in her life to make this decision. Uncle Ken Mesler and Auntie Jenn were by her side to help her through it as she got very emotional talking about her life and how dramatically Christ has changed and helped healed her.

Then we got to go out to the beach.
I love going to the beach because papa always lets me dangle my toes in the water!

It was fun to see momma take the plunge!

Pt. Defiance Zoo & Emma's Birthday

I took my first trip to the Pt. Defiance Zoo today. Momma and I went with Emma and Rheanna to celebrate Emma's 1st birthday! We had a lot of fun playing in the new kid area. Emma and I pretended we were baby birds in a bird nest,

we played in the jumping water circles,

and we played on an alligator!

Then we went to the park and played in the grass and opened presents.

Bath Time

I LOVE bath time! It is a little different now that Great Grandma Mary Ann isn't giving me bath's in the kitchen sink now. Momma gives me baths in the big bath tub. I don't understand why she doesn't let me stand up in the tub and sometimes I get upset when she sits me back down. But I am easily sidetracked from being upset when she starts playing with the bath toys with out me.

I don't really know what to think about bubbles. I'm not sure I like the taste of them and they kind of tickle my face.

My First Baby Dutchman

Today I got to have my first taste of a Svinth Family tradition... baby Dutchman's. Momma and I were staying at Grandma Kathy's for the weekend because papa was gone fishing with Stan. Grandma Kathy treated momma and me by making us baby Dutchman's. Wow was it good! Momma tried to explain to me what it was, a thick pancake with sides that we put powdered sugar, apples, and blueberries on. I didn't really know what she was talking about. All I cared about was keeping Grandma focused on her task of feeding me!
